Comments / Kommentare

We have a great winner, namely Shredder 8 and with Rebel 12 an unlucky looser. All other engines have shown equal strength in this tournament. To find out how and why it was possible that Shredder 8 won with 12.5 points ahead of the other engines, we are going to study the games more deeply. And within some weeks all games of Shredder 8 will be ready for download with comments. And then we can give a more detailed summary of this tournament.

Wir haben einen grossen Sieger mit Shredder 8 und einen unglücklichen Verlierer mit Rebel 12. Ansonsten haben in diesem Turnier alle übrigen Programme sich als etwas gleichwertig erwiesen. Um herauszufinden, weshalb Shredder 8 mit einer derart ungewöhnlichen Überlegenheit siegen konnte, gehen wir nun daran, die Partien vertiefter zu studieren und zu kommentieren. In wenigen Wochen wissen wir mehr und können dann eine etwas genauere Beschreibung dieses Turniers publizieren.
